In the morning:
- 9h20*: Arrival at the Waterloo Tourist Office located right in front of the Wellington Museum in the city centre.
- 9h30: 60’ visit of the Wellington Museum, on your own or with a guide (what we recommend). On June 17 and 18, the Duke of Wellington set up his H.Q. in this inn and drafted his victory statement there.
- 11h: Visit (with an audio-guide) of Napoleon’s Last Headquarters in Vieux-Genappe (9 km from Waterloo centre).
Napoleon and his army spent the night of 17th June there.
- 12h30: Arrival on the Memorial 1815 site (4 km to the North, in Braine-L’Alleud).

In the afternoon:
- 14h: Visit (with an audio-guide) of the Memorial 1815 : buried at the foot of the Lion’s Mound, a dive into the heart of the battle in a multi-sensory experience, full of special effects, the only one of its kind in Europe.
- 15h30: Visit on your own of the Panorama: an immense canvas (110 m in circumference) of the battle, painted in 1912.
- 16h: Visit on your own of the Lion’s mound: from the top of the 226 steps, admire the breathtaking view over the battlefield.
- 16h30: end of the day or visit (with an audio-guide) of the Hougoumont Farm (only on wednesday ans the weekend) approximately 1,3 km away from the Lion’s mound (free shuttles every 30 minutes) : the last genuine testimony of the battle is now open to the public with a new scenography. About 1h (shuttles included).
